Identify and define at least four local institutions changes that were made as a result of the reform movement, and explain how each affects politics today. Question 3: Define and explain “White flight and “Redlining.” Explain how FHA and VA policies helped to close the suburbs to African Americans.
Question 4: Explain the role of that religion, alcohol and pubs and civic groups played in the reform campaigns against party machines. Consider how party machines were portrayed in the media.
